oh my, abit unbelievable that i'm gonna go for NS in 4 more months ._.
but its quite cool i think?
not the torture and everything, but the fact that you don't have to think for the next 2 years and just follow orders and i know quite some ppl who're goin the same BMT sch as me.

what to dobefore the As really come;
bring my chem from fail to pass!
hopefully that is. it's the only thing i've got left that's failing.
finally had the last day of school yesterday, the last day of 2 years wearing full grey.
abit weird, considering that in sec 2 one of my reasons for wanting to come NJ was cos of the uniform but who knew the material was so horribly uncomfortable ._.
wanted to blog about something but i can't really remember it in its entirety, something along the lines of living life now.
like, there's so many things happening around the world like all the typhoons earthquakes etc etc especially around the SEA region but we're so lucky not to get hit by any.
maybe cos we singaporeans haven't really experienced these things therefore we don't appreciate the little nuances in life as well as others?
like waking up with a shelter above us or having a proper meal.
i mean yea, now it's the A/O levels for students and stuff, but that doesn't mean that academics are gonna be everything that's important in life rite?
people say that ohh well, i'm sacrificing my time with friends/enjoying myself for the greater good, when i've gotten good grades and got into my dream uni i'll make up for it.
after that i get my first class honours and secure a good job, of course.
and after i climb up the corporate ladder.
and after i make my first million.
before you know it, life's over.
and the time that you thought was always there never waited for you.
of course, it's an incredibly exaggerated example but nevertheless it just shows all of us that time really does wait for no one.
all in all i'm not asking everyone to pon sch and go mad enjoying life la, but to, y'know, just appreciate the things and people around us a little bit more?
life's really beautiful, but only if you slow down enough to take a look around.
ok enough about my random musings about life hahaa.
went out with a bunch of the S16 people for a meal and played pool after the last day of school!
(namely grace jingxi yangsheng runchao me leena saradha caleb)
grace wanted her squid ink pasta so we went to timah food centre purposely for that ._.
abit sian cos i eat there almost every weekend for church, but was fun looking at her eat it cos it looks abit like the strands from a mop that's been used for like 23784342 years.

ohh yea, went to watch surrogates and funny people last week, i think both were abit of a flop.
could've had better plots but at least the funny parts in funny people were really nice :D
time to go work on work.

what strange dreams;2 bizarre dreams in a row.
i remember in one of them i was driving around in a really horrible car (was a honda getz or a hyundai picanto) with ximing, junyang, shaz, geokpoh and brenda liew i think;
the funny thing was that we were looking for a restaurant in bugis that didn't exist and we went down this weird path (that i've never seen in bugis either) looking for it.
but amazingly we found it and i then woke up -.-
can't remember the other one, but it made me think that either,
1: i'm missing batok people like crazy, or
2: dreams occur for me when i sleep at 1am or so due to a result of incredible boredom during the daytime.
bio was fine, maths was stupid (or rather i was stupid), lit and GP was decent, and chem was passable for the first time in my life ^^

and so ends GP and bio P2;
(my post today starts in small letters cos my blogger interface is spoilt for some reason, i can't enlarge the font size. just thought i'd wanna share that incredibly random bit of info with the world)
i thought GP went pretty well, at least for paper 1 where i wrote like a madman for the sports question, the longest i've ever written for a GP essay. hahaa just hope that it'll make sense to mary lim and that she wun give me some weird mark for it. i thought the compre passage was kinda irritating cos the Sachs guy doesn't understand the importance of punctuating his sentences -.- like, 1 sentence was 4 lines long so you have to read and read and read and read to find out what he's actually trying to convey.
but the questions were alrite i guess, nothing too amazingly hard.
and bio! damn, i could've written so much more and for the first time i left something blank in a bio paper; auto -3m. heng it's not an essay question.
i was thinking i'd have enough time to come back and do the question, but i think i screwed myself by writing too much to secure those 2m-3m questions when there were so much more heavy questions at the back.
thursday, yesterday:
finally woke up early at 8 (yessss) to do a day of chem. well if you call 4 hours of work "a day", then yes i did finish a day of chem (:
went to popular at nite to hunt for a chem study guide cos half the time i've got no idea what the physical chem questions are saying, but i realised study guides are more or less like our chem notes, just compiled.
definitely not worth 31 bucks buying it for only 6 physical chem topics that i need when NJ's organic and inorganic notes are fine.
today:
